General Outline:
In
flash, have a sun rise and a sailboat sail across the water.

Make four layers - water,sky,sun,and boat making each item on each layer. Have
the sun move slowly up the screen by tweening.
Create the boat in the library by using >Insert > New Symbol.
Student Boat.
Now
we are ready to examine some math concepts.
Insert the movie into Dreamweaver. Create a math problem that applys
to this project. For example: Distance = Rate x Time. If a boat travels 5 miles an hour for four hours, how many miles does it travel?
Let's begin:
Sunrise with boat
1) Save it. Call it sunrise.fla
2) Make 4 layers and label them
boat - layer4
water - layer3
sun -layer2
skybg -layer1
3) Create your sun
>Insert
>New Symbol
call it sun
Press OK
Now Draw your sun
4) Create your boat
>Insert
>New Symbol
call it boat
Press OK
Now Draw your boat
Before we tween the sun and boat, let's create water.
Select the water layer
Select the rectangle tool
Select blue fill and no stroke
Create a rectangle in the lower half of the stage to make it look like water.
Now hide the sun and lock it, till later.
B) Tween the sun - that mean to make the sun move. the directions
are explained in steps below
1) Click on Scene 1
2) Make sure the library window is open. If not,
>Window
>Library
3) Select the Sun Layer.
Make sure you have the correct
layer selected.
4) Drag the sun symbol from the library window onto the center of the stage.
5) Move the symbol to the starting
position which is bottom center, under the water.
6) Click on frame 50.
>Insert
> Timeline
> Keyframe
7) Drag the sun to center top of the stage.
8) Click on any frame between 1 and 50
>Insert
>Timeline
>Create Motion Tween
9) Test movie
>Control
>Test Movie
C) Tween the boat - Steps below
1) Select the boat layer.
Make sure you have the correct
layer selected.
2) Click on frame 40 of the boat layer.
3) >Insert
> Timeline
> Keyframe
4) Drag the boat onto the center of the stage
5) Move the boat to the starting
position off the stage to the right.
6) Click on frame 100.
>Insert
> Timeline
> Keyframe
7) Drag the symbol to the left, off the stage.
8) Click on any frame between 40 and 100.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Create Motion Tween
Distance Project
D) Have the sun stay in the movie
1) Select frame 100 of the sun later.
>Insert
>Timeline
> Frame
E) D) Have the water stay in the movie
1) Select frame 100 of the water later.
>Insert
