Open Dreamweaver
Open an html document
1) Save As
call it solarsystem.html

2) Insert a 3x1 table
>Insert
>Table
Select 3 rows, 1 column

3) Select the table (make sure it is selected to do the following)
Use the Properties Window at the bottom of your document.
Center it - Under the Align Scroll Down
make bgcolor = white
select a border color
select a border number from 1 to 10

4) Create a color background
>Modify
> Page Properties
select a background color
Press OK

5) In row 1, type the title
The Solar System - or some other catchy title center the text and enlarge

6) In row 2 insert the Flash Movie
> Insert
>Media
> Flash
Select solarsystem.swf

You won't see the movie but you will see a gray docuement with a F in the middle.

7) In row 3 ,

1) Define the solar system.

Use ask.com or some other search engine or just explain it with your own understanding.

2) Explain how the solar sytem works. Name all the planets and how many moons each planet has.

3) Write a story with a math problem concerning the solar sytem. Write a problem you understand and can solve an explain.

4) Solve the problem, explaining step-by-step.

 

8) Save your document

9) To view it in Safari
>File
>Preview in Browser
Select Safari
