Create sequence in Flash

1) Open a rabbit.fla.
Change the name.
Save it as
>Save As
fibonacci.fla
In your Flash Folder
If you didn't do rabbit.fla, do this first. Click here.

2) Delete all the layers if any except one layer.
Label Layer1 - bg for background. Delete any extra frames.

3) Click on rabbit from the library. Select the rabbit.
>Edit
>Copy

4) Create a pair of bunnies
>Insert
>New Symbol
call it grownups
Press OK

>Edit
>Paste

>Modify
>Transform
>Flip Horizonally

Move the rabbit aside.

>Edit
>Paste

Adjust the bunnies. Color the bunnies.

5) Create another pair of bunnies
>Insert
>New Symbol
call it babies
Press OK

>Edit
>Paste

>Modify
>Transform
>Flip Horizonally

Move the rabbit aside.

>Edit
>Paste

Adjust the bunnies. Color the bunnies.

6) Create another pair of bunnies
>Insert
>New Symbol
call it mates
Press OK

>Edit
>Paste

>Modify
>Transform
>Flip Horizonally

Move the rabbit aside.

>Edit
>Paste

Adjust the bunnies. Color the bunnies.

Save your flash movie.

7) Create layer 2, time0
Click on Scene 1 to leave the library and return to the movie stage.
Insert a layer. Call it time0.
Use the A tool and write the words
Time 0 - two babies are born.
Move the text off the stage to the right.
Click on frame 20.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Keyframe
Move the text to the center of the stage.
Click on frame 15.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Create Motion Tween
Click on frame 30.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Keyframe
Click on frame 50.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Keyframe
Move the text to the top of the screen.
Click on frame 40.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Create Motion Tween
Click on frame 60.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Keyframe
Select the free form tool and make the text small.
Click on frame 55.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Create Motion Tween
Click on fram 70.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Keyframe
Move the text to the upper left of the stage.
Click on frame 65.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Create Motion Tween
>Control
>Test Movie

Save your flash movie.

8) layer babies born
(that mean to make the bunnies move. the directions are explained in steps below)

A) Make sure the library window is open. If not,
> Window
>Library

B)Create a Layer.
>Insert
>Layer
Label it bunnies born.
Make sure you have the correct layer selected.
Lock all the other layers.

C) Click on frame 90 of layer babiesborn.
>Insert
> Timeline
> Keyframe
Drag the babies symbol from the library window onto the center of the stage. Next, move the babies off the stage to the right.

Click on frame 110 of layer babiesborn.
>Insert
> Timeline
> Keyframe
Move the bunnies to the center of the stage.
Click on any frame 100.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Create Motion Tween

F) Click on frame 120.
>Insert
> Timeline
> Keyframe

Use the free form tool to make the babies small.

H ) Click on frame 115.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Create Motion Tween

Click on frame 130.
>Insert
> Timeline
> Keyframe
Move the babies to the top of the screen.

Click on frame 125.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Create Motion Tween

Click on frame 140.
>Insert
> Timeline
> Keyframe
Move the babies to the right of the text.

Click on frame 135.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Create Motion Tween

I) Test movie
>Control
>Test Movie

Save your flash movie.

9) layer January

A) Make sure the library window is open. If not,
> Window
>Library

B)Create a Layer. Select the top layer.
>Insert
>Layer
Label it January.
Make sure you have the correct layer selected.
Lock all the other layers.

C) Click on frame 140 of layer January .
>Insert
> Timeline
> Keyframe
Drag the grownup symbol from the library window onto the center of the stage.
Next, select the free transform tool and make the grownups as small as the babies and put them over the babies.

Click on frame 160 of layer January.
>Insert
> Timeline
> Keyframe
Move the grownups down.
Click on frame 150.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Create Motion Tween

F) Click on frame 160 of the layer January.
Select the A tool and type
January 1 - 1 pair grows up
Move the text to the right side

H ) Click on frame 180 of each layer.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Frame

I) Test movie
>Control
>Test Movie

Save your flash movie.

10) layer Feb Mates

A) Make sure the library window is open. If not,
> Window
>Library

B)Create a Layer. Select the top layer.
>Insert
>Layer
Label it Feb Mates .
Make sure you have the correct layer selected.
Lock all the other layers.

C) Click on frame 190 of layer Feb Mates.
>Insert
> Timeline
> Keyframe
Drag the mates symbol from the library window onto the center of the stage.
Next, select the free transform tool and make the mates as small as the grownups and put them over the grownups.

D) Click on frame 200 of layer Feb Mates.
>Insert
> Timeline
> Keyframe
Move the mates down.
Click on frame 195.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Create Motion Tween

E) Click on frame 200 of each layer.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Frame

F) Click on frame 200 of layer Feb Mates.
>Insert
> Timeline
> Keyframe
Select the line tool and create arrows.

G) Test movie
>Control
>Test Movie

11) layer Feb Babies

A) Make sure the library window is open. If not,
> Window
>Library

B) Create a Layer. Select the top layer.
>Insert
>Layer
Label it Feb Babies .
Make sure you have the correct layer selected.
Lock all the other layers.

C) Click on frame 200 of layer Feb Babies .
>Insert
> Timeline
> Keyframe
Drag the babies symbol from the library window onto the center of the stage. Resize it and place it over the Feb Mates.

D) Click on frame 220 of layer Feb Babies.
>Insert
> Timeline
> Keyframe
Move the babies directly right.
Click on frame 210.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Create Motion Tween

E) Click on frame 200 of each layer.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Frame

F) Click on frame 230 of layer Feb Babies .
>Insert
> Timeline
> Keyframe
Select the line tool and create arrows.
Select the A tool and write February - 2 pair of bunnies.

G) Test movie
>Control
>Test Movie

Save your flash movie.

12) layer March Mates
1) Select top layer - lock all layers
2) Insert Layer - call it March Mates
3) Select frame 220
Insert
Timeline
Keyframe
Drag mates onto to the stage and resize and place over feb mates
4) Select frame 240 of the march mates layer
Insert
Timeline
Keyframe
Move the mates down
5) Select frame 230 of the march mates layer

Create Motion Tween

6) Select frame 240

13) layer March Grownups
1) Select top layer - lock all layers
2) Insert Layer - call it March grownups

Drag growups onto to the stage and resize and place over feb mates
4) Select frame 240 of the march grownups layer

Move the mates down

14) layer March Babies
1) Select top layer - lock all other layers
2) Insert Layer - call it March babies
Bring the babies onto the stage, resize it and place it over the march mates.
Select frame 260

Bring the babies onto the stage, resize it and place it over the march mates.
Select frame 280
>Insert

>Keyframe
Move the babies down and to the left

Select frame 270

7) Select frame 290

Select the A tool
Type March - 3 pair of bunnies
Then use the line tool and Draw arrows as in the above movie.
