| Materials needed: Computer Lab with access to the Internet, a word processor, InDesign,or Quark. |
| This is a project that encourages writing while adding creativity as the student expresses their knowledge of mathematics. Allow students to create their project design by freely choosing their template if using Word and/or have the student create the titles in Photoshop or Illustrator and create colors and titles in InDesign if using that application. They are more movtivated to create good content when they have a beautiful design to write it on. |
| Take pictures of the school and the students and have them accessible to the students to add to their article. |
| All of the students are transfer students and are admitted to the school at different points of the school year. Therefore having this project online will enable them to see the course curriculum as well as work independently. It also provides more advanced students with the opportunity to move ahead to next section when they finish. |

have created the master page and before they begin content, have them
do the worksheets. Students are highly motivated to create good content
