Create Character styles
Open InDesign. Open your newsletter.
Select page 1.
Select some of the text in the content text box.
Open the Character Styles Palette.
Select the small triangle in the upper left corner of the Styles Palette
and Select New Character Style.
In the Character Style Window, type the Style Name text. Press OK.
You have saved the text setting that can be used on the remaining pages.
Create Rules Character Styles
Do the same steps in the rules text box.
Select some of the text in the rules text box.
Select the small triangle in the upper left corner of the Styles Palette
and Select New Character Style.
In the Character Style Window, type the Style Name Rules. Press OK.
Do the same steps in the rules text box.
Select some of the text in the rules text box.
Select the small triangle in the upper left corner of the Styles Palette
and Select New Character Style.
In the Character Style Window, type the Style Name Rules. Press OK.
