Create Layers
Select the Layer Palette .
If needed, go to
>Window
>Layers
Click twice on the create new layer button at the bottom of the layer palette to create two new layers.
Double click the bue Layer 1t o bring up a Layer Options Window.
In Name, type Background.
Press OK.
Create two more layers and name them art and text respectively.
Click the Create new layer button on the layers palette.
Select the background layer.
Carefully select each layer for each indicated action.
Background layer for the large rectangle with a border and the two smaller rectangles behind the headings.
Art layer for the logos created in Illustrator.
Text layer for content and headings.
