If you still feel insecure about how to approach your articles, read this.
Open a word processor.
In your word processor, write the introduction for your newsletter.
Write a few motivating paragraphs to get the reader interested in reading the next four pages.
Save the document as intro.doc.
Close the word document.
Open your InDesign project.
Select page 1, in the pages palette. Click on the number 1 to select that page.
It should have an Extra! Extra! headline.
Shift-Apple Select the two adjacent text boxes.
Transfer the text to your Indesign page.
>File
>Place
Find the Text, then click Open.
A different cursor appears. It is loaded with text and waiting to be placed somewhere.
Put the cursor in the upper left corner of the left text box and click the mouse.
When the strange icon appears, click inside the text box.
If the small red plus appears in the text box, click onthe text box to the right.
Select the T tool.
Triple click on the text to select it all. Find the right font and size and color to fill both text boxes.
Select the paragraph setting and select as you wish.
Below is one completed text.
Save the word document and then close Word.

Transfer the text to your Indesign page.
